    Jesse S. Muñoz

    Executive Director/Owner

    Over 33 years experience working in the domestic & international mining sector, including management roles with American Girl, El Dorado, and Western Mesquite mines. Jesse has recently held positions of Director and COO for Marlin Gold Mining, LTD and is currently COO of the newly formed Mako Mining Corp. His successful career includes construction and start-up in both surface and underground mine facilities with a diverse background in all areas of mining, including exploration, processing, engineering and production. His bilingual proficiencies have proven to be extremely valuable in negotiating property acquisitions and developmental strategies in Latin American countries. His expertise in conventional milling, heap leaching, agglomeration, crushing, refining, and both carbon adsorption and Merrill-Crowe recovery systems are the mainstay of his success.

  • Leslie K. Muñoz

    Executive Administrator/Owner

    With 20+ years of experience in the administrative field, she has worked as a contract specialist collaborating closely with lenders, general contractors and clients in all phases of commercial and industrial construction, including areas of compliance, bonding and progressive billing. Her knowledge of construction practices involving contract preparation, project scheduling, and financial modeling provide the leverage needed to act on behalf of clients through multiple phases of project development.

  • Arnold DeHerrera

    Construction Manager

    Arnold has over 26 years experience in leach pad and plant operations, Arnold has demonstrated his ability to lead multicultural/bilingual teams in the U.S., Mexico and Latin America. He has held management positions at American Girl, Western Mesquite and Greenstone Resources. His extensive knowledge of mining practices includes hands on experience in heap leaching operations and construction of both Merrill Crowe and CIC processing plants. His strong managerial experience in processing and construction focus on stringent safety standards, budgetary targets and meeting deadlines.

  • Frank Powell

    Sr. Geologist / Exploration Manager

    Frank has 33+ years of exploration experience globally, including 16 years in senior management with both major and junior gold exploration companies. Frank’s successful exploration career spans the sector from grass-roots to feasibility studies where he has led teams in the acquisition, discovery, quantification and optimization of gold and platinum resources including: Las Cristinas, Venezuela; South Deeps, South Africa; Getchell Gold Mine, Nevada USA; La Trinidad, Mexico and Sedibelo Platinum, South Africa.  Frank’s philosophy is “make economic precious metals discoveries in a team environment and bring them to fruition.” He has a proven track record of creating detailed 3-D geologic models, reviewing and assessing the integrity of resource models and an ability to critically analyze the geologic controls in gold mineralized systems. In addition, he has successfully created and tested predictive geologic models which have resulted in the discovery and definition of economic precious metal deposits. Frank is fluent in Spanish and places an emphasis on adapting to local cultures while collaboratively working with geologists, mining engineers, metallurgists, financial engineers, stakeholders and government officials.

  • Gildardo Vejar

    Sr. Mine Engineer

    With over 15 years experience in engineering, his work experience includes acting as Interim Mine Manager, Construction Supervisor and Surveying Superintendent. He has expertise in short and long term mine plans, geological interpretation, ore control and mine modeling. Additional areas of expertise and skill include; production block models, production drill hole databases, risk analysis, construction schedules and estimations. He is a degreed Mine Engineer proficient in and able to facilitate the training of individuals in Gemcom, Leapfrog and MineSite software.

  • Ramón Encinas

    Environmental & Safety Manager

    With over 16 years of experience in the mining sector, his professional career spans countries such as Mexico, Nicaragua, Guyana, and the United States. Ramón applies the knowledge he acquired during his involvement in compliance with the environmental requirements of SEMARNAT and PROFEPA in Mexico. He applies his practical experience in soil, air, and water conservation, as well as in the preservation of flora and fauna, which enhances our ability to maintain regulatory compliance and/or obtain permits for our clients' projects. He has experience executing rigorous compliance procedures related to environmental impact studies, audits, inspections, international regulatory review, and enhanced environmental and safety due diligence for projects. Over the years, he has developed the ability to coordinate operations and lead work teams at the general management level in mining projects. He graduated from the University of Sonora with a degree in Industrial Engineering and Administration.
